Beer Battered Fried Chicken

1 3 / 4 c. sifted flour
1 1 / 2 c. Tea. Salt
1 / 2 tsp. Pepper
1 can (12 ounces) beer
2 broiler fryers (2 1 / 2 lbs. Pieces), cut into pieces
Vegetable

Flour, salt and pepper in a medium bowl. Beat in beer with a whisk or rotary club until smooth. Let stand for 30 minutes.
Pour enough vegetable oil in large frying pan or pot to a 1 mm deep. Heat to 375 degrees in a frying pan thermometer or until a cube of bread a golden yellow color in 60 seconds. Dip chicken pieces in a couple of beers at a time, dough, allowing more flow into the bowl.

The Fry chicken pieces, turning once, for 30 minutes or until chicken tests performed. Place on paper towels. Warm in oven at 250 degrees until chicken is golden. Garnish with parsley and serve with onion rings, if desired.
